I have been on this road in every month of the year. There is always something beautiful going on. Eagles, pelicans, hawks, vultures and more

Sometimes, we just ride up this road along the river as a destination. We get to see barges, ferries, birds, boats, and sometimes even kayaks. If one starts in Alton, there is also a really nice bicycle trail. It is a bit tricky in spots...More

Nice drive. Was a bit overcast so it wasn't as pretty as it could have been, Need to do it again in the fall when the foliage is turning.

This drive satisfies the soul. In need of a calming settling drive it is 20 minutes between Alton and Grafton that reveals some of God's creative talents of spectacles to remember.

Usually take this drive at least once a month, in spring, summer and fall moths2-3 times a month. Beautiful peaceful drive usually with a Eagle sighting or two!

Beautiful Sunny but hot day. Lots of boats and action to see. Drove through park. Will plan a trip to stay overnight at park and hit the bars.

Even though we live just off this great road, we frequently drive it just for the views of the river and bluffs year round. Fall is normally spectacular, and the winter eagles majestic. Biking the bike trail from Alton to Grafton and beyond an experience.

Beautiful drive. Grafton is a must. Alton is very neat town. Lots of old buildings. Elsha Landing is hidden gem. Some bed a breakfasts and local favorites.

Yes. There is the "Grafton Adventure". We just did a couple Ferry rides to go back and forth. So don't know about fares.
