We stopped here on a driving tour. The overlook is tucked back into a cup de sac. The coast is just beautiful. I could watch the surf for hours!

You know it's a good, sandy beach when the locals are there. See Sunset and the other beaches but make the effort to go a little further east. Great for body surfing, boogie boards and surfers around the corner.

You will drive through residential area, dead end, the park. The uneven ground and wall is made of coral. A secret location, free, limited parking but a must!!

Stopped by Laie beach park to relax and although it started to rain, the views were incredible! Didn't get a chance to spend much time there, but it looked like a lovely beach. Will try again next time!

This beach was nice. There were others that I liked better but I was staying right in the area. And the views from here were pretty amazing. I liked it a lot.

I decided today to take a drive around the windward side of the island. Part of my plan was to stop somewhere along the way and enjoy one of the beaches I passed (I didn't have a plan for which one, I was just waiting...More

Possibly more lovely on a better weather day than when we visited, the locals were paddling out to a little island off the shore abit, which looked like fun.
