Small building, housing a gift shop and museum, with general information on vegetation and fauna. Free to enter, but since privately funded suggests a $3 donation.
This is a delightful small museum. We stopped after our visit to Waimea Canyon. I enjoyed their bird section and also history. We had a pleasant picnic before being on our way.
This is a small museum located along Highway 550 next to the Lodge at Koke'e. It is worth a stop to see the exhibits and browse the gift shop on the way to the Kalalau Lookout.
A good stop that gave us a better idea of where we were standing. Staff very knowledgeable and recommended the nature trail right outside the museum. Time well spent after viewing the Kalalau Valley from above. Tasteful gifts and large assortment of Kauai books.
Museum was simple but good. The gift shop was pretty nice, with pretty good prices for Hawaii and nice merchandise.
