We stopped here on a drive around the Big Island. The snorkelling was not great but the beach was nice. Mainly locals (families) but a nice spot to stop. Black sand beach so was a bit hot on the toes :)

Restrooms, showers and some waves. Pretty little beach with limited parking. Sand is black and white mixed. Looks like a locals hang out not many tourist. Waves are rough. Free access. Bring own drinks and food.
