Always buy the Chocolate Rum! Just back home now after a couple of weeks there and brought bottles home. Sip it or hot toddy or mull some chocolate mint with honey and on the rocks….This is good stuff! Great ownership and beautiful overlook from their deck. Just go there…

Fernando never disappoints. Always on time with his pontoon boat. Speaks English very well. Native islander that knows everyone. And everything Can line up ANYTHING for you. And probably best vehicle rental rates. Absolutely FANTASTIC👍👍👍👍👍

Great view, friendly staff and amazing rum! The island spice is not overly spiced and the wandering spirit is incredible! They have some great cigars too! They’re especially well know for their rum cakes! I had to buy a couple boxes since I just couldn’t decide which on I liked best!

Love their cakes! I purchased a cake from one of the port vendors in an open air market. I only bought one cake because I had to conserve cash for other things. Now that I'm home I wish I had bought several cakes! It's moist, flavorful, and deliciously sweet. These are small batch cakes so they are not shipped. Get them while you can!

This was pur third visit to the island and always make sure to stop by the Rum Company. Great tasting and always grab a few bottles, which usually never make it home. Frank and his staff and great.

Blended rums are decent and extremely reasonably priced compared to similar buying showrooms in Central America and the Caribbean. Unless you’re staying on the farm where the rum is made, like Copal Tree Lodge in Belize, you aren’t going to get a whole start-to-finish tour.
The flavored rums, especially chocolate, is easy drinking on the rocks or neat. Rum cakes are definitely most and delicious, especially the coconut flavor. I like that their rum cakes have slightly crystalized sugar, which adds nuanced texture and extra sparks of sweetness.
A woman promptly greeted us from behind the pandemic barrier counter upon entry, guided us with samples, and left to help someone after we confirmed we had no further need of assistance. After that, we selected goods from shelves on our own, without heavy sales pressure.
We went in the afternoon after the cruise visitors had gone back to their ships to pick up things for NYC before going to West End. So it was convenient and took less than 10 minutes to taste, make decisions, and buy.

So glad we found this place on our previous visit as the chocolate rum is amazing. So of course we had to go back for some more on our recent visit. Gentleman who helped us was great and informative. Each trip to Roatan we have to visit here. You can have tasters of all their different rums to help you decide which you prefer.

We always make this a stop on the way from the airport to the condo every trip. Frank, the owner, is awesome! He helped me make some Cotton Candy Island rum in 2018 (precovid) that was to die for!! But, all of their rum is so good! They have several flavors of rum to choose from including chocolate, coconut, spiced & others. Their rum cakes are great too! Best of all you get free samples of all of them!

Are you still offering the “make your own rum” option? Frank & I made a “Cotton Candy Island Rum” in 2018 & it was to die for!!! Tried to do it again in March 2020 but Frank wasn’t in that day & then the island got shut down while we were there. I spent 18 days locked down in my resort wishing I had some cotton candy rum. Really hope to make some this March.

Prices range from $25 to $30 for our different rums, the pricing for the Blendatorium is $29 to $39 depending on how many flavor extracts you want to blend, We accept Visa and Mastercard, Cheers

Best thing is to ask your guides to ensure you get an opportunity to go visit the Roatan Rum Company as you’ll be on the East side of the island and they are located more to the West.
It was a part of an excursion that we booked and we had the chance to see a lot of the island that way.

I'm hearing so much about Cash only in Roatan at almost all places except hotels/food places. A little worried about carrying that much cash in a foreign port. Does Roatan Rum Company take credit cards? I have no idea how much I'll spend here but I'm guessing it will be a lot. Thanks.
