Radium Springs was very pretty but not spectacular and it didn't take long to tour. It would have been interesting to see it back in its day, though! It was fun to walk around and look at the landscape and the water. I wouldn't, however,...More

Frequented by all the families of the region from the 1950s through the late 1980s, the historic Radium Springs, which at one time featured a fabulous restaurant, is only a shadow of its former self. Still a great historic site where you can see the...More

Step back in time and imagine you're enjoying a day of swimming in the 1920s. The blue hole of the spring is incredibly clear and full of fish. Very relaxing. The gardens look like they would be very pretty when the plants are blooming.

This is a BEAUTIFUL place to take pictures and is a hidden treasure in Dougherty County. This is known as one of the 7(state's) natural wonders. I rated it a 3 because there are no other "activities" near except seeing the springs.

This either is or used to be a local swimming hole. There is quiet a bit of unique history here. Apparently there was a large hotel and/or casino there at one time. There is some large underground spring or cave that feeds this pond and...More

WOW - I have never seen a radium spring and this place was amazing. From a distance it looked as if it was raining and actually it was the bubbles being created because of the radium. We were so happy we stopped. The steps are...More

Local authorities have done a good job with repairs following recent bad weather. Nice place for a picnic, or to let the kids play, or take pictures. The park and waterside walkways close at dark and its relatively safe. Have to admit the gnats are...More
