Fun lakeside park with excellent playground for kids, approximately 2 miles (RT) of paved hiking, picnic and party areas and lots more. During the summer, kayak, canoe and paddleboard rentals generally are available at the sandy beach area. The beach offers lakeside swimming and sunning,...More

Would be a nicer park if there was ever a place to park or sit or swim but they are always so packed that its impossible. We always end up somewhere else. The bathrooms need better attention.

This place has a nice beach area. The park has a play ground and grassy area for the kids to play in. Super crowded on the fourth of July.

I went to this lovely park for the first time today. This place is really charming and beautiful ! I saw people in kayaks, walking dogs, and flying kites. I will be back. It's tucked away amongst southern trees and a historical neighborhood. Feels like...More

I used to frequent this spot as I worked around the corner and would sometimes take my lunch "to-go" and go and park under 1 of the 100 yr. old trees near the lake and sit and eat and reflect on things - I still...More

Visited this park for the first time on a beautiful cool Sunday afternoon. There were quite a few people there, walking dogs, playing on the playground or just walking. This is a really nice park with a beach. There are some picnic tables and pavilions...More

We spent hours at this lovely park with our dogs. The nature trails are beautiful and the dogs had fun swimming in the lake! We will definitely go back!

I recently revisited this park/beach/lake. I found it to be so peaceful, and that is what I loved about it. After a death in the family I have visited and just sat and prayed. It was just what I needed. There is activity but it...More
