This one is super fun. Jessica was our server and gave us excellent, friendly service. The food was so good. The scotch egg was on of the best I have ever had. The beef stew was thick and rich. The bread pudding was perfect. The people in the bar were fun with lots of regulars who really love the place. Enjoyed the entertainment with Michael Funge. 🍀 Definite stop when in Jacksonville.

Took my sister to dinner. Her first time there. Our server, Luke, was the best! Very attentive and gave great suggestions. My sister has been to Ireland many times and said she felt right at home. She got Guinness to drink and the whiskey salmon for dinner. She loved it. I got the pretzel and beer cheese sauce for an appetizer and the Guinness stew for dinner. Both were delicious. Tables were spread out for appropriate social distance and all the staff wore their masks. Very comfortable and friendly environment. We lingered and thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

From the moment we walked in the door, the experience was exemplary. We were greeted at the door cheerfully and escorted to a table after they inquired what our needs were. The lighting, atmosphere, decor and energy in the pub was very appealing. We ordered the fish and chips with sweet iced tea. The food was hot, delicious and satisfying. The service was flawless. I would go back, recommend this restaurant, and I give it my highest score across-the-board of a five out of five. I can see myself being a regular based on this first experience at Culhanes.

I arrived alone, just after opening. I had been dying to try this place on one of my visits to Jacksonville for medical appointments. As Friday is the only weekday this location is open for lunch, I jumped on it. I’m a lover of Ireland, so I begin with high expectations. First, the staff are wonderful, as exemplified by Deb, the hostess, and Jim, the bartender, both of whom I’d asked for recommendations. I was very torn, but elected for the Dingle Fish Soup rather than Fish and Chips, which are more readily available elsewhere. I wish it had less cheese in it (a bow to Southern American tastes), but it certainly was delicious. I was less enamored with the garlic fries (the sauce took away from crispness), but, again, kudos for creativity! I look forward to returning (NOT the medical appointments!) to try the fish, the Shepherd’s Pie and many others.

Popped in for pre match breakfast Sunday and was met with a real warm welcome, a real Full Irish and a brace of creamy pints.

Culhane's was just what we were looking for in an Irish pub. Lots of different beers on draft and an extensive Whiskey menu. The bartenders were friendly and very fast to provide service.

We didn't order food but several of the dishes that other patrons were eating looked yummy.

On Fridays, they have Karaoke @ 9 or 930pm.
It was a nice surprise when it started and gotta chance to sing a few songs.

This place is not on the beach, but was definitely worth a visit!

We've been coming here for years, and my band used to play here from time to time as well. What the 4 sisters have created with Culhanes is noting short of amazing. That said, our last visit was a bit of a disappointment. It took a long time before anyone came to wait on us on the patio, even though there was another table being serviced there regularly. I ordered an Old Fashioned drink, which came out missing the cherries. When I went to order a second, they wouldn't make it because they didn't have all the ingredients. I said yeah, the first one was wrong also, so I ordered the Wellington instead. We had both asked for waters when we first got served, but they brought only one, and we had to ask 3 more times before we got the other one. Took forever to get it. We ordered a salad to split, and I very distinctly asked for no Bleu cheese, and the waitress even repeated it back to me, and yet the salad came out, you guessed it, covered in Bleu cheese. So far, my wife and I are laughing off these mistakes as an off night. Then came my wife's soup and salad combo, which had the tiniest portion of salad you can fathom. The original full size salad was also a very small portion for the price. Also, we had to wait forever to get ketchup, salt and pepper since there was none on the table. And here's what led me to write this review (the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back). They brought us ketchup packets. Like we were at McDonald's or something. Then came the check. We were charged $10 for the Old Fashioned that wasn't made right because they didn't have all the ingredients. Not even a discount or an offer of any kind to make up for it. Because they have been excellent for so many years, we will most certainly go back and give things another chance, but it won't take too many experiences like this one to frustrate us enough to look elsewhere next time. I hope the Tinseltown location doesn't cause the beach one to become neglected, because it's been a staple of success for many years, and I'd hate to see it lose its status because of a lot of minor things that add up and eventually become a big thing like the visit we just had

Irish pub environment with great people at the bar including Jimmy Erickson. I love the fact that now I can get a beyond burger… It was delicious.

I also met Mary Jane, one of the owners. She has a great personality and makes it fun to visit.

The restaurant also has Karaoke and trivia nights which are extremely fun with a group of people.

Amazing service complimentary of our server Dana. He made the experience even better with his knowledge of the menu and his attentiveness to our table! His recommendation of the lamb sliders and Guinness stew was a choice I will be sure to make on my next visit!

Had a reason to research this place. Very pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly. Food was delicious and environment was great. Often times strip mall bars are out of place with decor or location. Not so with Culhanes. Definitely a pub feel. Had a dining side and outdoor patio seating too.
Prices were reasonable. Menu seemed to align with other Pubs I’ve been too. Seemed authentic.
Definitely would recommend.
