I go every Memorial Day. There are people there to discuss the memorial and what everything means. Wonderful place to honor our veterans and those who have sacrificed.

I wanted to visit this memorial because I love history and more if it's related to how our country has struggled and survive to protect our freedom. To see the names of so many military people who put their lives on the line and died...More

I happened to be there when there when a piece of the twin towers were trucked in, so it was a very moving, emotional experience. A must see for sure.

I was apart of this place when it was dedicated...truly a special place that was built with respect to honor Colorado's fallen. Stop in and see this beautiful memorial near Buckley AFB.

Ample parking, nearby bathrooms, short walk, near Beck Rec Center, quiet atmosphere, outdoors, not very many people seen visiting, good place for a little walk around

This memorial is a great spot not a lot of people know about. It's somewhat emotional if you come from a family with military history, or served yourself, but it's worth the trip. It's located just across Buckley Air Force Base off 6th Avenue.

This is a sacred place. It's closer than you think, right near Buckley AFB (just the other side of Telluride). It's a lovely little park, and the glass panels are beautiful to view, especially at sunset. Bring your children and talk to them about the...More
