Perfect historical collection of history and artifacts for the town of Aspen. We visited on our "day off" from skiing. The restored Wheeler home, in which he never lived, is the sight of this museum. Very interesting heritage.

Lots to learn about Aspen here. How it got started, who the movers and shakers were and where they came from... what helped it grow. Very beautiful mansion home.

A informative, interesting museum. The docent we had the pleasure of meeting was helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable, who spent extra time with our questions.

The $10 admission includes an exhibition catalog to accompany the second-floor exhibit, "Bests, Firsts & Worsts: Aspen in Objects." The exhibition and catalog feature more than 95...More
