Teaming with life. The birds have really taken to this place. One way drive of about 2.5 miles. A few turn outs to stop and be quiet and enjoy.

We planned our trip to the refuge to see the Sandhill Cranes. We saw thousands of cranes and other migratory birds. The views were spectacular too. Definitely worth the trip.

How wonderful! Great place for the Sand Cranes! If I lived closer I would love to visit and walk around without the cranes.
