Visited with my grandson on a Friday. It was hot and a lot of the stores were closed. I did not realize that a lot of the tour attractions were CASH only! We did the train ride and panning for gold, which were just OK,...More

Picturesque little town! It has good food and lots of little shops. Wish we could’ve stayed longer but a monsoon was rolling in🤷🏻‍♀️

Spent a few hours there on a very hot June day. I would like to point out that the tours accept “cash only” payment. The train, mine and mystery house were interesting. Because of the heat, many of the shops were closed and we had...More

This is usually one of the stops when we have visitors out of town. Never fails to entertain. Tours, shopping and a cold adult beverage or two.

This town has lots of old western atmosphere and well maintained. It really brings you back in time. We ate at the Mammoth Steakhouse and Saloon. Service was very good. Food was average for hamburgers. We sat on the verandah facing Superstition Mountain. Really nice...More

Everyone there seemed to enjoy visiting it. It looks very realistic. But it was overpriced and the mine tour in particular was very short and I have my doubts it was ever part of a real mine. Some of the "buildings" were closed. I admit...More

This was a fun place to stop before starting the Apache Trail. We got there early and building slowly opened at 10am. May have been a better experience if we got to the town later in the day. Did buy a few things when we...More

Authentic looking, unfortunately many of the places were closed. We went on a Monday , about 1pm in 102 degree heat. Stores are very interesting and reasonably priced. Very scenic, enjoyed the railroad tour ride.

This was a cool Wild West town! We bought the combo ticket for the train ride, mine tour, and mystery shack. It was very interesting and we learned a lot. The coolest thing to do there was the snake display. It was amazing to see...More

The pic itself I think was about $40-45, but I got copies (parents) as well as a very western frame. (Weathered wood, barbed wire and a horse shoe). So the actual cost was kind of lost in the total, lol. I was on a roll... More

I think 2-3 hours is more than sufficient as suggested by others. You can shorten the time if you opt out of the train ride which circumnavigates the town itself. The narrative on the train about the gold mining that went... More
