Great desert drive from Scottsdale, but definitely for younger kids. Cute and reasonaly priced shops, snacks and restaurants and if you want to pay additional, can ride a train and visit a gold mine. No fee to enter the ghost town, but would take a...More

We stopped in at Goldfield Ghost Town on our way back from Tortilla Flat. If you're a fan of the old west or like western movies I think you'll enjoy a stop here. The buildings and layout of the town look spot on for how...More

My 4 year old son liked shooting the guns, I thought it was weird that they were electronic, not very exciting. The gun fight was good, a little short. There wasn't a whole lot to do, it seemed a little pricey to do each thing...More

We often take visitors here whether they have children or not. It's an easy ~40 minute drive from the east Valley (East Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, West Mesa, Chandler). You get a glimpse of Arizona past when you enter Apache Junction and get on AZ 88....More

What a fun place to visit with children. The whole family can go back in time and experience the wild west. There is plenty to do, see, and shop for. You can have your children pan for gold, ride the train, watch a gun fight,...More

Pleasant little place to take a short walk and visit a few gift shops. The buildings do appear to be old, but all have been repurposed in support of the themed shopping.

Fabulous experience, from food to shops to mine tour! The history, the knowledge of the keepers of the land, the shops and stops ... the landscape visual awe inspiring! Would recommend for family without a doubt one and will stop in again next visit!

This is a Typical Tourist Attraction. Mostly food and souvenir shops on a dirt street. We ate at the "steak" house which was not such a treat. They did have live entertainment. Probably would not go back or recommend this attraction.

This is a must see old gold mine and attractions. Horse back riding, zip line, gold mine tour and gunfight show are a must see.

The pic itself I think was about $40-45, but I got copies (parents) as well as a very western frame. (Weathered wood, barbed wire and a horse shoe). So the actual cost was kind of lost in the total, lol. I was on a roll... More

I think 2-3 hours is more than sufficient as suggested by others. You can shorten the time if you opt out of the train ride which circumnavigates the town itself. The narrative on the train about the gold mining that went... More
