The trail was largely well-marked though difficult to discern in several places. Cyclists counter-navigate the trail, but they can still surprise you, so be prepared. The trail is marked “hard”, but that’s for cyclists - although narrow it’s not much of a challenge for walkers....More

The Kettle Moraine, both the north and south units, is such a gem. Highly accessible from highly urbanized Milwaukee. Instantly retreat into the wonders of glacial/post-glacial Wisconsin. Some good trails to hick and see a view. Some difficult trails as well. Had a good time hiking and enjoying friends company!

Sorry for late reply. No real water activities except they have Ottawa Lake with nice swimming beach and campground.
