Circulator saved us miles of walking! The busses go to most of the places you’d want to go. Cheap and easy to use. Buy a smart card for metro. It can be used on circulators. Much easier than paying each time.

We almost booked a hop on hop off bus tour which isn't that cheap. We saved money by taking the D.C. Circulator. It's so easy too! You can get a map of the stops which is around the national mall. It's only a $1 for...More

Absolutely the best way to see DC! Saved us so many steps! Takes you to all the sites around the National Mall and at a $1 a trip so affordable. We never waited for a bus more than 10 minutes. Loved it! Would use again!

The smartrip card is valid for both the metro and bus services. You can get the cards at any metro station as well as refilling them there. I don’t know what a metro card is, other than another name for the smartrip card.
