I was walking back to my hotel from the National Mall when I passed this amazing building. The architecture is certainly unusual, and is certainly worth stopping for a few minutes to take it all in.

Incredible bulding with a classic fremch architecture.

Just walking by and stop and take the architecture in is a good 10min spent.

Was walking around to see the fenced off White House when this massive building caught my eye. The building's presence and commanding vibe really drew me in, and I had to see what it was and grab a photo of it.

This is really a striking building architecturally. LOTS of security. We were able to walk all around it.

It looks great from the outside on Pennsylvania Avenue- definitely old-style, regal and elegant ("they don't build them that way anymore). There are no tours or entry for commoners, although I once got in through a friend in the 1970s- it looked like the inside of a government office building of the 1950/1960s.

This place was really cool to see. It was a very nice building located next to the White House. This building was more impressive then the White House. I would get a tour inside next time if I could.

This building has some serious old school architectural designs. It’s just straight up fantastic and a look into the past.

This building has always intrigued me. We still call it the Old Executive Office Building (OEOB) for some reason. It was really nice to see it decorated for the holidays – it looked especially lovely in the evening. It is right next to the White House and is occupied by the Executive Office of the President, including the Office of the Vice President of the United States. . It was built between 1871 and 1888 and for years was the world's largest office building, with 566 rooms and about ten acres of floor space. Unfortunately, it is not open to the public.

Huge office building next to the White House. You look at it from one side and it looks big. You walk around the entire building and you are impressed. If doesn't look a wartime or executive office, but it is. And massive at that!
