Had an “edgy” feel- not unsafe, but cautious
The only tourist attractions are restaurants and nightclubs

It seems that there is minimal tourist value so I don’t recommend this as a place that you need to visit.

The nieghbourhood is so alive and full of beauty. Easy to get to and go from. Eclectic is an apt word.

I loved seeing this place for the first time! Walking around at night not only felt safe, but exciting and fun.
The atmosphere is lively, and there is a plethora of good restaurants to enjoy. I particularly recommend Smoke and Barrel’s BBQ.
The metro station at Adams Morgan makes this neighborhood quite accessible. If you’re looking for a place to spent a fun evening on the town, I wholly recommend coming here.

A fabulous, funky, eclectic neighborhood with some amazing restored townhomes, B&B's & international food scene!
Ethiopian, Korean, BBQ, Bratwurst, Italian, giant pizzas, Chinese, Mexican, South American...
All housed in a small area worth waking & wandering through!
Just 2 miles from the government & historic sites, it's got a great vibe & is a respite after a day in museums & monuments!

Among several wonderful hotels are shops and restaurants that are well worth visiting. Get away from the city center to a nice neighborhood with diverse cusines (Brazilian/ Seafood /Afgan/ Mexican / Continental/ Greek/etc) fun shops , a few bars and nice family vibe.

No high rise, colorful shops, large choice of restaurants (no many chains), the area has a lot of vibes.
This is the right place to hang around with friends for lunch or having a coffee. So more lively than downtown DC

Great food. It was blazing hot, so we ate on the patio. Wait staff were pleasant and accommodating. We were seated near the nacho warming oven, so that was fun.

I like the local color of Adams Morgan. I went there on an-overcast skies day but still love the quaintness and bonhomie spirit of the place.

Very much enjoyed our four day stay in this district. Wide choice of restaurants on 18 St from American diner to blues bar to Nepalese to Afghan. Within walking distance of (free to enter) Smithsonian zoo. Only drawback is that the nearest metro station is about 15 minutes' walk away.

-I usually get a personal tour when I visit a new city - a little pricey but you get the best info
-I am sure there are some listed in TripAdvisor for DC area and I have not had a bad tour if listed on TA
