Such a beautiful memorial with a peaceful atmosphere in a secluded area. Loved seeing all of the names on the wall too.

Relatively new, i.e., dedicated in 1993, this is a tribute to the 11,000+ American women that saw duty IN Vietnam, and to the 265,000+ women that served during the Vietnam War. The sculpture consists of 3 uniformed women with a wounded soldier. Beautiful sculpture!

Just standing by the wall and seeing all the names is really a moving experience. It makes you think of all the families that suffered a loss from each young persons death.

I am glad there is a memorial for women. I wish that there had been more information about the participation of women in the Vietnam war.

Got a nice story about this monument from USA guided tours. Very nicely done, had a good backstory. It's really close to the Vietnam memorial, just a few steps away.

I think they should have left the Wall alone and unadorned. Do check out the new plaque nearby remembering those who died later of things directly related to the war such as cancer for agent orange exposure.
