We visited last summer (2017). It is a pleasant drive to the top, or hiking is an option. There are a few places to pull over and take in the scenery. A great place to watch sunsets also. The tower building at the top was...More

We visited Mount Constitution over several days. It is obviously one of the most popular spots on Orcas Island for a reason. We were treated to many soaring bald eagles flying right past us at the top of Mt. Constitution. They have a neat tower...More

Drive, hike or bike...but go to see the incredible views. It is definitely worth it! Construction was going on to remodel bathrooms when we were there taking up some of the parking.

From Friday Harbor you need to take the ferry to Orcas Island - apx 13 $, the inter-island I believe it's free. When you get to Orcas, you can hitchhike, yes it is legal and safe..I did it all summer
