Just returned from a family camping trip...wonderful experience! The park staff members were so kind and helpful. They had family programs planned on weekends. We went camping through twenty State Parks of Arkansas and this one was the hidden treasure. I was unfamiliar with VCSP beforehand but it is now one of my favorites. You can fish, swim, hike, golf, and so much more - without ever leaving the...More

This park is huge. Over 8,000 acres. There are sports activities like baseball fields, camping, and hiking. Even a golf course. We stayed overnight in the "Equestrian Loop". There was only one more campsite occupied. Nice long, level sites. Water and electric hook-ups. There were...More

Our varmints are deceptively cute and adamant opportunists. Easy pickin’s like outside ice chests are right up their alley! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and we hope to see you again soon. VCSP Staff.

We had a great visit. The camp sites are well kept. The park has lots of amenities such as tennis court, gulf courts, Equestrian camp section and hiking trails. Negatives: no Wi-Fi access in park, many work while on the road and need Wi-Fi, even...More

We had our son's wedding there and used the Amphitheater for the ceremony and one of the meeting rooms for the reception. The wedding was beautiful and everyone had a great time! The newlyweds stayed in one of the cabins that night.
