This place offers wonderful walks with beautiful views, just 5 minutes driving from Picton town centre. Highly recommended.

Nowhere near as dramatic as the Milford Sound (but that one is a fiord anyway, this one is a real sound) but still lovely views and wildlife spotting opportunities.

Queen charlotte drive was beautiful. Nice scenic views. Nice beaches, accessible by short walking tracks (10min). A lot of lookout points. And not a lot further than the non scenic route between Picton and Havelock, so well worth the drive

Our 3 and a half hour - pickup.... cruise....track.....and cruise return was led by Jill Evans of Cougar Line and her professional, helpful and most knowledgeable crew for a taste of the track. Nature at it's elite...thanks again Cougar Line.
