Ronald Belford Scott (1946-1980), universally known as Bon Scott, was born in Scotland; he became known as the lead singer of Australian hard rock group AC/DC. AC/DC are said to be the world's leading hard rock band. Bon Scott dominated the rock and roll music industry from 1974 to 1980 with his aggression and innovation as a lead singer and lyricist. This evocative statue can be found adjacent to the Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour.

Being a lifelong fan of AC/DC, seeing the Statue commemorating the life of Bon was a very emotional experience. It was a moment to sit in front of Bon's Statue and remember all the Classics, from "It's a long way to the Top (if you wanna Rock 'n Roll)", "TNT", "Jailbreak" and my favourite, "(She's got) The Jack." I also spent some time at Bon's grave, and was moved by his Family's Tribute to their son and brother. You may be gone Bon, but your music will live forever.

Nice statue I'd ACDC frobtmsn Bon Scott. Pretty diminutive but still a good photo stop, especially if you like their music. Close to the seafront and ferris wheel, we really enjoyed a quick visit.

Bon Scott became famous as lead vocalist for hard rock band AC/DC, Bon Scott is rated as one of the greatest rock singers of all time, in one of the greatest hard rock bands of all time, It's sad that Bon Scott died in his prime, when AC/DC were getting into top gear. The statue is worth seeing, I call in to see in when I'm near the Fishing Boat Harbour in Fremantle.

Having been a fan for well over 40 years, and having also seen the great man many times this made our trip to Fremantle even better, we were also lucky enough to be there for the highway to hell concerts and procession to mark the 40th anniversary of his very sad death.
What made all of the above even better, we didn’t know the statue was here, or the concerts were on, how lucky we were!

This is a nicely done statue of the man best known as lead singer of AC/DC. For those into this iconic band, it's a must see. For anyone else, its a statue of a man.

A lot smaller than I imagined but it was great seeing someone that I admire being recognised in the form of a monument for being in the greatest rock band this country has ever produced.

For one of the greatest front men of this era this is not a big enough statue. OK he was not tall at 1.73 but this child size tribute is not good enough. Nicely detailed though and good inscription

We were strolling along and saw this statue of the AC/DC member. The statue is nice, the inscription is comprehensive. The walk in this area is well worth your time if you are interested in statues as there are many and varied.
