    Great day trip!
Easy to use service and friendly onboard staff! Haven’t been to Rotto for over 40 years and it was a fantastic day! The ferry staff made the trip there and back enjoyable and easy to use!

    Fantastic island
Booked online easy enough. Only to find out I had booked the 2 of us only 1 way. Rang up Sealink to see if we could get the 2.30 boat back instead of the 4pm. That's when I found out I had only booked 1 way. The girl on the telephone was really helpful and even said I had paid to much for the trip (only Boat) and not only refunded $84 for overpayment she managed to book us back on the 2.30. We picked up 2 bikes to get us around the island which were great. There are hundreds of bikes so didn't need to take one over. We got baskets with ours for our bags too. The island beaches were amazing. Hard to bike on a 30 degree day but then cooling off on the beaches is just fantastic. Didn't get around the whole island but I do recommend that unless your a really fit person, hire a electric bike online to do the whole island, just make sure you order online at least 3 weeks prior to going. They only have a few. Only saw i Quokka but cute and managed to get a selfie with it. Worth the trip to Rottnest.
Hi there, Thank you for much for your detailed review. We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your day on the island, and we agree, the beaches are such a great way to cool off in the hot weather! Thank you for choosing SeaLink to travel to Rottnest Island. Kind regards, Kat from SeaLink

Great day trip to Rottnest and cycled to some of its fabulous beaches and coves.
Had a great trip from Freemantle and returned to Perth on a fabulous sunset trip up the Swan River. The vessel crew are super professional and very friendly. And the whole service was excellent. The trip back from Rottnest with the sun setting, was something else!!! Highly recommendable trip.
Hi 47maximog, Thank you for your lovely review :) Glad to hear you enjoyed the trip on the Swan River with us. I can imagine the sunset view must be amazing. Thank you for choosing SeaLink to travel to Rottnest Island and we look forward to seeing you again! Kind regards, Rachel from SeaLink

    Easy option for Rottnest
Really liked the SeaLink option of a Perth departure and return to Freemantle, which was easy to book online (with QR code for boarding). The initial Perth-Freemantle segment (1 hour) was on a smaller ship (no WiFi) with free coffee/tea, and interesting commentary from the captain as we wound our way along the Swan River – great sightseeing! At Freemantle we briefly disembarked before getting onto a larger ship with wifi, which took another 45 minutes on rougher waters to get to Rottnest. Returning to Freemantle was obviously on just one ship, very quick. Easy boarding, friendly staff, great experience.
Hi lomimu, Thank you for reaching out and providing us with valuable feedback! We are thrilled to know you enjoyed the trip along Swan River and then to Rottnest Island with us :) Your kind words made our day. We’ve passed your comments on to our team as well! We hope to see you on board again soon. Kind Regards, Rachel - Sealink Rottnest Island

    Reliable service
Very good & reliable company, we departed from & returned to Fremantle sharp on time. The staff was very helpful too - I was able to change my return time from 4:00 to 2:30 pm pretty easily and at no extra cost. If staying in Perth you can save around 30 AUD by departing from Fremantle instead (it's about 40 AUD cheaper minus 10 AUD for Transperth).
Hello, Thanks so much for your thoughtful review. It is so good to hear that your enjoyed your journey with us; that you found the staff helpful; and that it was easy for you to change your return ferry time. Thank you for choosing to travel with SeaLink. Kind regards, Kat from SeaLink Rottnest Island

    Grand tour package. 👍
Great experience traveling to Rottnest with sealink. We took the grand package offered and it was great. Quokkas everywhere, seen snakes, whales and more. Lunch was great and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Weather turned nasty on the day so to cold to swim, but still had a great time.
Thanks for your wonderful feedback, great to hear that you enjoyed your day out with us on Rottnest Island! Kind regards, Kat from SeaLink Rottnest Island

    Easy to update bookings
Sealink experience was great! Easy to get on board with the printed online tickets. On the way back we had pre-booked a 6pm return, but we found we had finished with the bikes earlier, so we rang up the Sealink reservation people (free phone in the tourist information) and we could move our return journey to an earlier time of 445pm - they then sent a new barcode to use. All easy. Very choppy on the way back - but it was quick.
Brilliant feedback, thanks so much and thank you for choosing SeaLink! Kind regards, Kat from SeaLink Rottnest Island

The trip across to Rottnest Island was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the little bonus of an ice block on the way over. Seas were quite rough on the way back , however , we felt safe and staff weee very professional in dealing with the situation.
What a lovely review, thank you so much, so glad to hear you trip to the island was comfortable despite some rocky seas. Kind Regards Ella from SealinkWA

It was so easy to book and a nice smooth trip to the Island, Such an awesome place to see , The Quokka’s are so use to humans that they just sit around and mingle with everyone, the beaches are absolutely beautiful, we only went for the day, needed more time here

Great service on time now delays, I even managed to come back early rather than waiting for the time slot I'd booked.

The island is still quite unspoilt except for the main ferry landing which seemed a bit commercial to us. We had booked a ferry from Fremantle (cheaper than leaving from Perth) and had the train/bus tour of the island (the Grand tour). This was very interesting as we took the train to the cannon lookout and inspected the wartime tunnels, followed by a wrap lunch and bottle of water followed by a bus tour around the island. This was very enjoyable as we stopped at a few places for coastal scenery and ending up amongst the quokkas being able to get up close for photos. Afternoon trip back on the ferry was a little bumpy but OK. The coffee shop at the ferry landing on Rottnest was not cheap but the food was OK. The ticket office had overbooked the bus by 2 people which meant that my partner and I were unable to sit together and some older people on the bus who also had to sit apart kept looking at us as if we were responsible for their separation. This was rather disturbing and spoilt the overall experience. Our bus guide was excellent as were the staff at the cannon lookout.

We left from Perth and the captain gave us a nice commentary while on the Swan River. We changed to a sea going vessel at Fremantle to go to Rottnest. The crew on both vessels were very helpful and pleasant. Overall I would recommend this company for your visit to Rottnest Island.

The ferry was on time and well organised. It was an extremely busy Sunday. There are toilets and a cafe on board.
There are provisions for bikes, prams and scooters just mention them on booking.
It’s not cheap for a family for a half hour trip, but a good choice

I took Pinnacles all inclusive Rottnest island tour.Ideal when tou have just a day and want to see it all;Besides being senior freindly.
The pick up was spot on.The whole trip was at a leisurely pace and covered by very knowledgeable and guides proud of the history of the place. This gave me a better feel of the place as it was since the WW2 times.
As promised had a good Tete -A-Tete with the Quokkas too.
A sumptuous vegetarian lunch was provided for me-On the whole a great expereince.
Spots for improvement would be:
Have a signage at the ferry landing itself to direct clients to the train station(There were non english speaking people who struggled and were confused, though the information centre personnel put in all efforts to help them.)
The public address system in the tour bus needs to be more efficient.
