Metros has been around for donkey's years and has a reputation as one of the places to go if in Fremantle or Perth.

City calm down were fantastic. Bar staff were rude and drinks were ridiculously overpriced $24 for a small jacks and coke( which I doubt was Jacks a all as it tasted like bitter cheap bourbon) and Carlton draft beer. Won't be back..

Would not recommend for gigs. Have been to the metropolis twice now in two weeks to see two great bands that I've seen many times before. Leftfield and Primal Scream. Both times the sound quality was so poor that it made both gigs unbearable.
In international terms this is a very unremarkable club which charges you too much money compared to just hanging out in late bars and has an ultra-aggressive ID checking scheme.

Drinks expensive though , $13 for a bottle of peroni! My friend had a sparkling wine which was not nice , tasted cheap .
