Worth the drive. It was recommended by a friend and we loved the views. Take pics - I’m personally not a big fan of being in pics but the backdrops here are awesome. Quaint little place where it is fun to just park and walk...More

Like a postcard, a dream. Lovely place - waterfalls, cows, nice people, very chilled. The grass is so green there too.

This place is heaven on earth. The view is breathtaking. We stayed for one day in Staubbachfall hotel, so we could see the Staubachfall, i think that was amazing. Trip were continued to Murren, but Lauterbrunnen was a perfect village.

This was our 4th visit to the Lauterbrunnen Valley, Mürren and Wengen but the first time we ever slept in Lauterbrunnen. I can't rave enough about this area--thus, the reason we continue to return. I've always said the area is a picture-perfect postcard--so exquisite it's...More

Beautiful village. However, as with most cities/towns in Europe, everything shuts down between lunch and dinner. The town is very scenic and "Swiss", so just walking through and gazing into the store windows was nice. There are also a lot of trailheads that start nearby.
