Great for a night out in Tavira. Great atmosphere & beers , plus music for a good sing along. We were a group of 8 male golfers but the bar was mixed with mostly couples - but all intent on having a good time.

Pleasant staff, a place guaranteed to have football/rugby etc, on tv. Clientelle were very loud and boisterous when I visited, only stayed for one drink as there were a few who had obviously imbibed a bit too much and I could not relax. A lot...More

I visit Tavira regularly and often pop in for a beer while I`m there. The bar staff are really friendly and accomodating, beer always cold and food hot and filling. The Riverside bar is well worth a visit if in the area.

Went in because my travel mate Arthur loves Guinness and shots (try the Boners!) and it was on the way back to our hotel. Friendly professional staff and excellent food. Became one of our locals whilst in Tavira. A must.

Best breakfast sandwich in Tavira, really friendly female staff and great value. 3 screens for Sky TV, watch all the sport and they sell Estrella and London Pride. We have walked past before but just parked outside and walked, glad we did

Great bar right on the river owned by English people who are very knowledgeable about what you can do or see in Tavira, seems to be a gathering spot for ex-pats with very good prices for both food and beer. A great place to just...More

Has changed its name from the Madhatters but still essentially the same old ex pat bar. If you like your sport you can usually get any big football or rugby games being played.

Did not eat here, had a drink while men watched the football. Food looked like typical English grub. The place is quite tiny, has not had its original features removed. There isn't any outside seating, there are views over the river.
