In the rain we came inside and were charmed by the 8 min video of Tavira's Islamic past. Very interesting.
Small museum telling the history of Tavira under the Moors. Mostly artefacts but with reasonably good info (we were given an English translation in a laminated book at reception). Not too pricy, and nice way to spend an hour or so. The temporary exhibition on...More
Interesting to spend an hour browsing relics in this museum. The Tavira Vase and its history was particularly engaging. Entry only 2 euro (1 euro if over 65). An English translation pamphlet is available and a 10 minute video with English subtitles gave a good...More
A small but quite interesting museum. Staff were pleasant and informative .A nice way to pass an hour .

This is just amazing. The intricate design of the objects found is just mind blowing. If you don't come here during your visit then you are mad
We paid 2 euros each to visit so not a lot of money, its tells an interesting story but it is small, curiously though there is information in English at the entrance and in the welcome film but none in the main gallery! Worth a...More
