When I visited, I was told the Kenesa was undergoing renovations and not open to the public. That is a shame, since from the outside it looks an interesting building and would be nice to see house of worship for this interesting sect.

The word Kenesa is derived from the Hebrew Knesset, which means assembly. This is where the Karaites worship. Under a sophisticated renovation, this building is rarely open to outsiders. Enjoy it from the street.

Unfortunately what could be a very interesting building displaying the culture of the Karaites is covered in scaffolding & not open to the public

Prayer house for Karaite. Currently under renovation and not open to the public. Finish time uncertain as it depends on receiving funding.
