This place is very good and has a variety of jewelry and suverniors. Prices are not the cheapest but I guess if you are into Amber you might pay the price. They give a good briefing of the history and info regarding amber.

It was rainy and windy day when we found this amber museum. There was no people and we were the only visitors. Pay extra 2,5 euro and you will hear about the history of amber, the variety of amber colors and other interesting facts.
The Amber Gallery-Museum is quite small. However, with a good introduction given, one gets to know a lot about amber, how and where it is found and also for what and how it has been used. There is also the opportunity to buy amber jewelry.
The tour through this museum provides explanations of amber, the various colors, how to discern real from fake and how it is polished to become jewelry. It is primarily a shop but the gallery is interesting.
Pay for the explanatory talk- it is so worth it! The lass explained beautifully about the origins and causes of different colour amber, and we could handle big pieces.
This is a really wonderful little museum.
More shop than true museum but worth a look to hear about the different types of amber and its various uses - amber tea or amber cognac anyone? Some interesting amber pieces on display and lots for sale. Historic property.
