Great place to visit ! There are few windmills and you can go into one of them and see how it actually built inside. There is a small museum of old farming equipment and tools as well as some old costumes. On a sunny day...More

I first came to Angla years ago when the windmills had yet to be turned into a tourist attraction proper, and although/because they were run down and there was not much infrastructure to speak of the place seemed somehow more authentic. Now it's more about...More

“mini zoo” full of animals (rabbits, turtles, ducks) in a tiny enclosure in horrible conditions - sad to watch.

We visited Angla mostly to learn more about windmills. It was a nice surprise to discover the windmills are open to the public. There is a small fee - the site is certainly worth it. We did not spend much time in the Angla Culture...More

It was €6 for a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) which seemed good value. We didn't walk in the museum but viewed the windmills (and animals outside). You could go inside one up multiple stairs to the top which was interesting. Unfortunately most...More

There are several well preserved windmills, a few of which you can enter and see the workings. There are also various enclosures with animals that kids will like. The displays tell of the history of windmills in the area. As adults we enjoyed our visit,...More

This assembly of traditional windmills and the museum very nicely informed us about traditional agricultural practices, and allowed us to see first hand the working of these grain-grinding mills. We were cycling, and it was worth the time to stop and explore.

They've built a nice attraction around the old windmills of one you can climb into. There are some farm animals and hares for children to look at and old farm machines for everybody to see. There is also a cafe and bakery.
