If you are even a little bit interested of meteorites this might be a place to see. It is easy to reach and accessible with little children as well. But if old impact craters are not your cup of tea all you see is a...More

Estonia has had an unusual amount of meteorite activity over the millennia and this crater is the most visible result. That said, don't come here expect some post-apocalyptic theme park with endless attractions: it's more like an actual park with trees and stuff, and while...More

Kaali Metropolitan Crater is a well-rounded tourist attraction. The environment has been arranged. Convenient for tourists. Easily accessible. Description exhaustive. We successfully selected the time of the journey when the spring is around and the crater's surroundings are included in the blooming vines. Good photos...More

The scale is unable to be appreciated unless you go there. Quite peaceful place, definitely part of the Saaremaa experience. Ferry was so easy with professional staff. Watch your GPS-the initial turn off the main road is easy to miss. Definitely one of those places...More

It is historical crater, where metheorit was falling down for a long time ago. Today there is a calm park where to sit and meditate. Beautiful surroundings. Newly renovated museum and restaurant nearby. Open in summer time.

Really cool to see a REAL meteorite crater (the origin is confirmed). There is an authentic tavern nearby, but all in all I think it is much better to visit it in summer - the view should be more spectacular.

It you didn’t know what the ditch is from you would bother. The fact it is created by a meteorite makes it very interesting and educational. The site will not take your breath away but will certainly make you think what all is out there.

Apart from the crater there isn't really much to see or do here but the impact site where the meteorite buried itself into the ground is impressive enough. The crater really is quite large and it is possible to take a short stroll around the...More

The crater is a deep depression partially filled with water. There are walkways all around it, in trees. It is just like a big park. There is not a lot of walking. It is of general interest because of course the hole was caused by...More
