It is historical crater, where metheorit was falling down for a long time ago. Today there is a calm park where to sit and meditate. Beautiful surroundings. Newly renovated museum and restaurant nearby. Open in summer time.

Really cool to see a REAL meteorite crater (the origin is confirmed). There is an authentic tavern nearby, but all in all I think it is much better to visit it in summer - the view should be more spectacular.

It you didn’t know what the ditch is from you would bother. The fact it is created by a meteorite makes it very interesting and educational. The site will not take your breath away but will certainly make you think what all is out there.

Apart from the crater there isn't really much to see or do here but the impact site where the meteorite buried itself into the ground is impressive enough. The crater really is quite large and it is possible to take a short stroll around the...More

The crater is a deep depression partially filled with water. There are walkways all around it, in trees. It is just like a big park. There is not a lot of walking. It is of general interest because of course the hole was caused by...More

Nothing prepares you for the size of this crater! The photos don't have much scale unless there are people on them, and even then it's difficult to grasp the scale. To appreciate the crater fully your visit should be on a sunny day so you...More

Check this huge crater. It is easy to find and also has a nice place to drink coffee. You could buy some nice things made from dolomites here.

We were cycling, and were drawn to Kaali because of the unique event of a large meteor impact. The signs are well designed, provide lots of geological information, and include English explanations. Adjacent is a large crafts display/shop that specializes in laces made by weavers...More
