This is free of charge, if you have a car, just go and look around, simply to see how buildings and living looked before.

There is really nothing to see there, we went dor the hike. The hike itself is nice, with good viewpoints (and it was winter, it was snowing, so the atmosphere was very enjoyable).

It's a ruin. You'd not go there just for it but if you did you'd be a bit disappointed. Plenty other ruins in the area more worthy

Lovely crumbling old castle - a good photo opportunity, and a truly beautiful walk up many many steps to get there

You can stop by real fast and visit these old ruins. You can see the outlining of the ruins, but that's about it.

A ruin of the castle built in the 13 th century, not a lot left of it but interesting because it is in its natural state. If time limited then not a must see but we visited it whilst walking to the manor of the...More

There is only one section of a wall remaining in ruins, nonetheless, you're find some pleasure crawling around the ruins without any museum staff standing over you. If you arrive at the right time of day, the place could be romantic with the right lighting....More

Generally, not a bad place. You still are passing by on your way to Turaida castle. However, there is not much to see here - a couple of remnants, and that's it. For the lovers of ruins.
