I enjoyed the short trip with the cable car from Sigulda to Krimulda. I would recomend to do one way with the cable car and walk back down on the serpentine road. It is just a half an hour walk. There were not too many...More

A good way of crossing the river to take you to the high ground on the other side. Slightly pricey for a 5 minute ride though.

Short walk from Sigulda to cable car station - quite pricey at 7 euros per adult, but views were good and we had the car to ourselves.

We took it to go up and came back by foot. The view on the park is nice but not really different that what you see from the hills, and the ride is very short. Take it if you're lazy, it will save you 15...More

I love a good cable car ride, so asked that this was added to our itinerary during our recent visit to Sigulda. Visiting during the off season, it was quiet and after purchasing our tickets, we walked straight in. There were only 5 of us...More

The views on the cable car were lovely over the valley. It was a cool way to travel from one side of the valley over to Krimulda. However, the price was quite steep. Once we got to the other side it was basically a derelict...More

My first time in cable car and totally worth the money (7e). We took one way ticket to Kriselda, then walked to the cave (1km) and to Turaida castle (1,5km). Lots of stairs and upphill climbing but it was a very nice route.

The tickets are quite pricey, but it is a spectacular if short trip. Watch out for the bear climbing one of the trees. We were at the golf course so the trip took us on our way back, otherwise its a return journey as there...More

The cable car costs 7 euro one way or 10 euro for a return trip. It is a good choice if you want an easy way to get across to the national park. The views from the car are OK.

We used the cable on our way to the cave and Turaida castle and the views were amazing. 7 euros one way or 12 euros return. If visiting the castle I would recommend that you only go one way as there are a large numbe...More

It's easy - you can take a map of Sigulda in Tourism information bureau and within 15 to 20 minutes you will be near the cable car. It takes a bit more than 5 minutes to go from one river bank to another. More... More
