I visited in August so not sure if the exhibit is still current but absolutely loved this place, There is some great art and exhibits, staff are friendly, it's a very reasonable price and the Art Nouveau exhibit was very interesting.

Excellent small museum showing Art Nouveau interiors. A must see stop for Art Historians and people who like the unique take on Latvian Art

This is in a wonderful building, so worth seeing for that. A mixture of painting, not all of them quite rightly labelled, an Egyptian section, very small, but with one great piece.

At the Doma Laukums church area in old town. Public washroom in the basement. The museum is on 3 floors with a large assortment of oriental and European art, silver, textiles. Cost is 2.5 euros.

A small and varied permanent collection may contain items of interest for some. The current Art Nouveau exhibition was more interesting. Some areas appeared to be shut for lunch and not open. This included the cafe.

The RIGA BOURSE museum is interesting if a little bland in places. I would recommend the Oriental section the most as well as the Ancient Egyptian section which includes a three thousand year-old mummy of a Theban priest and five thousand year-old art .

If you love art, visit! The building is fabulous too, and there are temporary exhibitions too. One on Art Nouveau when we visited was extremely good, with some great exhibits.
