Had a lovely day at the beach here, such a pretty spot, we were at the Majori end where you get off the train, it's worth noting that it's a long beach and some places classed as Jurmala but are an hour's walk away, plenty...More

Had immense pleasure walking it. Not a lot of people, beautiful nature, beautiful weather. You can walk by the sea or through the pines. Lovely. If you come to walk not to swim go west, less people there.

Good clean beach, a park near the water, but not so many places to eat in, and the water is mostly shallow.

Great spot just outside Riga to relax and enjoy the beach and quiet surroundings By train or bus only about 30 minutes from Riga city center.

It takes about 30 mins by national rail. There is NO tram going there. Tram is operating only inside Riga and Jurmala is a different city. Hope this helps.
