Small outdoor museum. Good place to have a 20 minute break and stretch out legs. Although it might be hard to walk on the logs, especially if it is raining. Worth a visit if you are in that area. But not worth a special trip.

Unique wooden fortress village and stone age reconstruction village differ from any typical castles. Definitely recommend if you want to experience different environment and very interesting sights. (The price is 2€ per adult.)

9th century lake village is the highlight. Neolithic site is based on dwellings found in other areas.

I'm glad I read Trip Advisor and decided to visit this site. I think it's even more interesting than Cesis old town. On the day I visited, there was a special day, and they were celebrating with traditional music and food. Entrance was for free,...More

Interesting. Pretty location by lake. The area around Araisi is picturesque and pleasant for walking.
