Overview
More
The Ukrainian Cultural Centre and Greek Catholic Church is tucked away in Laboratooriumi 22. It was built by the members of the Ukrainian community in Estonia and is a place open to all people regardless their nationality and religion. The Centre is a lively place, hosting Labora workshops and the Tallinn School of Calligraphy. Ring the doorbell to get in - if someone has time, they might show you around. We offer tours and workshops, book in advance to see the whole centre and church, hear all the stories, and even try out some of the crafts done here. Information on labora.ee/workshops. The Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church is open during services (weekdays 9 AM and Sundays 10 AM), from 10-17 during summer, or on special request.

A monastery tucked away between Laboratooriumi (lane/road/walk?) and the Old Tallin Walls. You can pay a tiny fee and walk in. Do not miss the basement with the hand painted plates of animals that are going extinct nestled next to Sanat figurines and wooden eggs....More

It's not only the church but also the Ukrainian cultural center full of interesting people, stories and amazing workshops, such as papermaking, calligraphy school, Easter eggs painting, wood toy making and many more! Really a must-visit place in Tallinn !

This little "monastery" and church is dedicated to "the Virgin with three hands." Quite a story to be told here. Small tour groups are the best way to visit, I believe. Painted eggs, calligraphy, "toys" and psychological props, and paper-making crafts are active in the...More
