We spent a few hours in the Telliskivi area. Formerly an industrial and railway yard, it has been transformed into a vibrant zone with open-air restaurants, boutiques, galleries and shopping stalls. It's a fun place to hang out.

Having visited the Seaplane Harbour & Museum, which in itself is worthy of an excellent rating, we decided to walk back to the Old Town via Kalamaja and stumbled upon this hidden gem by the railway station. Lots of food stalls - had to sample...More

Not just tech start-ups, but everything creative people crave from wonderful Ice-cream (avocado-lime (vegan), bacon-maple sirop, plum-cinnamon) to cool bars and foodtrucks. Maybe not the best place to visit during the weekend, but during the week it is very lively.

Cozy place with many bars, restaurant, and venues. I have been at the festival Jazzkaar in Vaba Lava and Punane Maja, both venues are nice. It used to be an industrial area and it still has a genius loci.

Here you can find the less-touristic part of the city. It is an interesting place and like its own small world. Really nice to see!

Housed in a former Soviet railway engineering works, it offers a wide variety of things to buy, eat. Bohemian originally but becoming more mainstream as time goes by!

In Telleskivi area you can see Estonian creativity. Clothes, bags, belts, jewelry by young Estonian designers can be bought with reasonable prices. All clubs, cafes and restaurant in that area looked interesting and trendy in nice and creative way.
