The Bastion was built in the 16 ct for protecting Vilnius from attacks from the East. Now nicely restored. Not so big exhibition inside : cannons, weapons, ammunition, some recent archaeological discoveries. Audio guide 3 euro, ticket 4 euro. Nice views from the terrasse to...More

Came across this massive fort looking structure on the way to my hostel. Gorgeous green fields surround this stone area. Looks like a fort from back in the day with a canon up top.

Really worth the visit. Doesn't look like much outside, although obviously interesting, but once you get inside there are some great exhibits to see. Recommend.

Very nice with interesting finds, e.g. Wooden objects from the Stone Age. Nice reconstruction of the bastion.

Excellent value for money. There are wonderful archeological finds , some dating back to 5th-4th century bc . The restauration has been sympathathetically done .
