First time in Vilnius, our cousins took us to Cathedral Square. Gorgeous surroundings, people enjoying walking and very clean is what comes to mind first. The people in Lithuania take pride in their heritage and history.

Well kept square in the heart of town with lines depicting the outskirts of the original settlement. With cathedral, Gediminas statue and the bell tower, this is good starting point to explore the old town. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

No photograph can do justice to the scale of this cathedral -- it is massive. A friend studied organ performance here, and I was astonished by the size of the pipes and banks for that incredible instrument the first time I saw them. This is...More

It was raining when we got there, so it was rather messy to walk around. But the cathedral looked magnificent with all histories behind it. It is located near the old town.

Visited on a cold, wet, windy day, but still felt there was a great atmosphere to this place. The cathedral, tower and palace are all in close proximity.

The Cathedrale square is the access point fron the city centre to the other arwas of Vilnius. There are a number of good cafes and restaurants and almost all the major attractions are in a walking distance.
