We were in the square for the Christmas Market. The seasonal atmosphere was created by the piped Christmas pop songs. Not as extensive or varied as other markets we have visited around Europe, still worth a visit.

The Cathedral dominates the square and the Bell Tower is very photogenic. Superb architecture considering it is a religious building in a USSR dominated country.

Great place to walk and people watch. Also, visit the Cathedral to pray and admire beautiful works or Art, like the Tomb of St. Casimir.
