Lovely park and very interesting history of the Tyszkiewicz family and Palanga. If you want to sea the entire park you would probably need an entire day.

Lovely building, and even nicer staff. I wanted to buy an specific item and they tried really hard to help me. Amber isn't the impressive thing itself. It was the palace forniture and decoration what I enjoyed the most. Great place to visit

The amber museum contains a wide range of items. Very interesting. Reasonable entry fee. Good level of interpretation (inc English). Some archeological artefacts as well as jewellry, raw and processed amber but most contents relate to amber's creation, distribution, collection and so forth. Over 30,000...More

This beautiful mansion has been turned into a comprehensive amber museum. There are exhibits of flora and fauna inclusions such as a lizard trapped in amber. You can also admire exquisite amber jewelry. Take time to admire the lovely gardens.

A very interesting place, telling the visitors about the hidden past in the shape of amber. Something could be better exhibited, but as visitor you are better equipped with knowledge about Palanga as the biggest place of amber in the world-

We were here with a cruise tour so we were a bit rushed. It is a wonderful collection of a wide variety of types of amber pieces. even down to some prehistoric insects. Depending on your interest, you could spend a couple of hours here...More
