Quite cosy friendly place. Helpfull staff, fair prices. Restaurant and hotel is in the middle of nowhere but atmosphere and surroundings of renovated castle are marvelous.

The castle is situated between Raudone castle and Skirsnemunė and its construction was completed in 1610. Currently the castle belongs to the Academy of Fine Arts. There is a museum, hotel and a restaurant. It's well worth a visit and go up to the top...More

I have been there few times. It's nice castle. Near by is river and forest where many people gather in evening for walk biking etc. I used to go there with my ex girlfriend almost every week. There's a bar and restaurant as well but...More

popular for weddings and photos, reconstructed, never been outside, perhaps it is available now, on the main route towards other castles and historical houses, close to main road, mainly accesable by car

The castle is on the right bank of the river Nemunas, between Raudonė castle and Skirsnemunė.The castle was built by the Dutch architect Peter Nonhaardt in 1610. Nowadays it belongs to Academy of Arts and serves as an exhibition hall and venue for various events.
