This is beautiful synagogue near the city centre. Well worth seeking out if you like architecture and religious buildings.

Situated in the heart of Nitra the quiet atmosphere is quite something. The architecture is simple but beautiful. You can go for an exhibition (check the website for what's on ) . If you plan it well you can catch a concert in the Synagogue...More

It is of considerable architectural quality with chaste Moorish elements. I attended a dramatic performance for which the former synagogue was eminently suitable.

Impressive design of this synagogue , by a hand of famous architect. There's a info board with history of this synagogue and Jews in Nitra.
