Our first visit during our trip to Slovakia. Cave is very nice. The visit is 45 minutes however it is due the guide talks. Could be 30 minutes. My opinion it is bit overpriced. Charging 10 EUR for the photo permit is robbery especially if...More

My husband and myself both in our late sixties visited these caves today. It is June so summer. There is quite a steady climb to the enterance and then over six hundred well maintained steps and the tour of about forty five mins. The first...More

... My headline is in answer to the previous comments complaining of the ice not being so huge in summer. Well, the ice starts to melt in summer and doesn't really begin to develop until it starts to get cold again, so... Nevertheless, the cave...More

You cannot make a reservation but don´t worry, they allow every guest to enter the cave. Just make sure to check the entrance time before coming! Allow about 15-20 minutes before the entrance time as first you have to climb a bit before reaching the...More

It is a nice cave to visit but be ready to pay 6 euro for the parking and have a large group on the visit (at least in August it is so). The issue is that you pretty much rush through and due to large...More

A steep climb. Beautiful cave. Hot day, but need to think ahead. An ice cave is cold. Take something warm to wear in the cave. There was some ice. Not a whole lot though. But then it was mid summer.

Went to the Ice Cave as it was close by. A nice experience but not a must. You climb a steep hill to reach the cave and then you climb down 45m in the cave. The local guide only explained in the local language which...More

Before you enter the cave you need to climb up a steep hill for 20 minutes. There are alot of steps inside as well. We did not see alot of ice. Totally misleading. Not worth a visit in summer.

Takes 20 minutes to climb up the road leading to the cave. Then you enter in a group with a guide. Quite cold but very little ice to see... nothing fancy or mind blowing. 45 minutes in the cave with not much to see. Costs...More
