In a quiet corner of Buda, this house is where Bartok lived for 8 years before he had to leave to escape the Nazis and the war. It has his furnature with folk art carvings. The first floor is a small concert hall.

Thoroughly enjoyed this visit to Bela Bartok's house. Loved the manuscripts hanging down from the ceiling through the stairwell. I did not know much about this composer before the visit and was happy to have this learning experience.
