The original building was built in the 13th century by the Venetians. It was demolished in 1877 and rebuilt two years later. I imagine that you can go inside and regret not doing so. For such a small village, it is an impressive building.

Unexpected large and nice building in this small town. It contributes to give a sense of majesty to the main square and is certainly remarkable in itself. Seen from outside only.

The biggest and most interesting city palace in Piran Cant miss it - right on the Tartini square... Lively on Saturdays, when there are wedings held inside...

This is the Town Hall. We could visit the Art Exhibition on the ground floor but could not visit the rest which was a shame as it was an interesting building.

We could only go in the ground floor to see the Art Exhibition which was a shame as it was a lovely building.
