The cemetery is an open-air museum. Numerous tombs have special sculptures. In this cemetery are resting many famous people of Poland. The cemetery is very large, and its full visit takes 3 hours.

If you are into history, then other than Wawel and Poznan Cathedral (which are important, but "smaller"), this would be the place with most of famous Polish dead people can be found. Definite place to visit and pay respect to writers, singers, painters, etc.

Hi, On the right of the church there is a panel of the buried personalities in this cemetery and the location of the graves. I have not seen a billboard with all the people buried here. Best, Tufus

The cemetery is very accessible to photographers— you might check for the availability of guides @ The Warsaw Voice ( the English language newspaper).
