If you have some spare time when in Warsaw, you may want to visit zoo. Some nice species can be found there including tigers, lions, rhinos, elephants, gorillas, giraffes, polar bears and hundreds of others. One of my favourite ZOO in Poland.

Also there are 2 entrances. Use the one at the opposite end of the park to avoid the huge queues at the main entrance. I’m not a big fan of zoos and animal enclosures and seeing a polar bear struggling in the 30 degree heat...More

Really enjoyed the zoo though some of the animals weren't on show. The weather was great. Of particular interest is the fact that the owners in the 1940s rescued 300 Jewish children from the ghetto. This spawned the novel and subsequent movie The Zookeeper's Wife.

Went here to see the Żabiński villa. Unfortunately we were unable to tour the inside; no answer to our email and phone requests. The zoo is nothing special.

The Warsaw Zoo is extensive, well laid out, with beautiful grounds and many exotic animals to enjoy as a family. But if, like us, you are interested in World War II history, you must visit the home of the zookeepers, the home of the Zabinski...More

We spent an enjoyable few hours visiting the zoo, walking around the very very clean smell free outdoor enclosures where the animals are kept. The grounds are beautifully kept and there are plenty tastful kiosks dotted around the place where you can buy ice creams...More
