An imposing building with lots to see, go early & take your time. The mixture of old & not so new is fascinating, all architecture buffs should visit.

We visited the National Museum in Warsaw without great expectations; but we were positively surprised by the museum and the wonderful art displayed there. The buildings are in themselves great works of architecture; and the art collections covers apparently all periods of polish art, which...More

I visited the National Museum specifically to see the collection of Polish Art-and was certainly not disappointed. Room after room of beautiful, very high quality paintings that deserve to be seen by more than the handful of people wandering through. I was here about two...More

Spent a nice afternoon at this Museum and really enjoyed temporary exhibit. This is a nice museum, not like some of the more famous museums in Paris or Madrid, but well worth the visit. Located right in the middle of central Warsaw...easy to get to.

Be aware, this museum is very hot and stuffy in warm weather. Some of the rooms have air conditioning, but most do not. It is easy to get tired and overheated here. We particularly enjoyed the special exhibit of Jozef Brandt.
