We came across this by happenstance, and only visited briefly, but I'm glad we had the opportunity to stop by and pay our respects.

Sitting in the adjacent park watching the guards changing every hour is an amazing site. The eternal flame that they are guarding is lit here to commemorate the tomb of the unknown soldier and of times gone by. Warsaw is a modern city but it's...More

Excellent monument to Poland's huge contribution to the allied war effort, listing a number of battle honours including Monte Cassino and Arnhem. Guarded by Polish soldiers, you are allowed photographs, but please be respectful.

This is a monument to commemorate all the Polish soldiers who fought and died during all the past from very beginning. The eternal flame is guarded by the soldiers and the place is localised on Pilsudski Sq. in the heart of the city.

Built under the remains of an old castle. Changing of the guard. Not essential to see or spend much time at.

This is where Poland pays tribute to its men who died in service of the country in the II World War. Respect to them and please respect this place. Amazing. Also, as a hint, try to understand the history of this monument. Quite interesting!

Arrived in Warsaw as it was snowing. There were many cadets there who were being given a lesson in the sacrifice of the Polish nation. Time to reflect
