I'd gone here to see Block 10 Museum which is in the Citadel. You can walk to it from town, but you're better off getting a bus which drops you outside the main entrance, and the only one you can get into! Another entrance is...More

If you are interested in Polish history this place is very interesting. The downside is that most explanation is in polish.

It is a 30min walk from the old town to the citadel. Getting in is difficult, as portions of it are a military base, so you have to run around looking for the entrance. Once in, there isn't much to see...barracks, fort walls, cannons, but...More

There is nothing much to see to be honest. Only the whole building from the outside is interesting. You can take a walk within 30min and that's all. Atraction is for free, so no need to pay for any ticket.

It's a historical landmark, and nice for a walk, with some nice views, but there's not much going on there.

The Citadel looks like a very impressive structure on the map of Warsaw, so one may wonder why it is rarely mentioned in the guidebooks. The answer is that about 90% of it is still used by the Polish army and regular tourist are banned...More
